- Several purpose-built carriages (bought with funds donated by the National Lottery, The Country Landowner Association together with several Shropshire based Trust Funds)
- Specially selected ponies and horses of various sizes.
Congratulations!
The Perry Group wants to congratulate Sam Gant and Holly Dormer on their recent success in becoming Level 2 UKCC Vaulting Coaches with the Perry Equestrian Vaulting Group. This Group is unique in the West Midlands in arranging sessions for children of all abilities and of all ages. The Group is very proud to now have two Level 2 Coaches as part of the Team. Thank you for all your efforts Sam and Holly.
The Group is also delighted to announce that an incredibly generous grant from the Short Breaks Department within the Shropshire Council Children and Young People Directorate has enabled the Group to place an order for a fully interactive mechanical horse from Racewood Horse Simulators in Tarporley. This horse will enable the Group to put on sessions in all weathers, enabling young people as well as older members to access the sport of vaulting and horse riding at all times.
Watch out for the Perry Equestrian Vaulting Group to give demonstrations of their skills and 'Have a Go sessions' at the Myddle Fete on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May, the Baschurch BRAG event on 1st May at Baschurch Village Hall from 11am onwards and at the Shrewsbury Lions Fun Day in the Quarry on Bank Holiday Monday 31st May and please watch out for more information about the Group Open Day on Sunday 25th July 2010.
Assisted by a group of willing volunteers, Perry Riding and Driving provides tuition, from the very basic to the more advanced, therapeutic riding and physiotherapy, and enjoyable hacks and drives.
